The race on Sunday Oct. 12, 2014 was a success!!

JOHN GREEN made his target of 70.3 miles 
in the half Olympic triathlon at Cape Canaveral!! 
Hooray!

 This was our first Parks for Peace fundraiser.  
WE MADE OUR FIRST TARGET!
The next step is to invest with our grant writer, 
who will  find 10 grants tailored to our project. 
Once we are approved for grants 
we can begin the construction of our first Peace Park 
at the Community Learning Center in Clearwater, FL.

Excerpt from Flathead Beacon: "The stature - called "Galactic Samurai - Confrontation of Evil" - is Winters' "good message" to a world that she believes is a little shaky these days. 

      'My interpretation of what I have done is what one person can do to change their section of the world, their family, their community, their nation," Winters said. "I think people can reach a lot further than they've been taught they can reach.'"

A percentage of the profit goes to help fund a new project I am working on with inner city children to help them create their own Monumental Children's Sculpture Peace Parks promoting that a drug-free individual, home, community and planet will help create a more peaceful world.
