I just returned from installing my monumental commission, "The Galactic Samurai - Confrontation of Evil" at the private DFW residence of the Global Chief Technology Officer and one of the Senior Vice Presidents of PepsiCo.
In addition to an interview on KDFW Fox 4 TV, I was also featured in a two page editorial with a cover mention in ON Magazine.
Here are pictures from the spread. I will post the video footage as soon as I receive it!
Had a fabulous show in Miami this weekend at the St. Stephen's Art Festival! Sold "A Love Poem", "Fly, Fly, Little Wing" and "Ange de Fantasie" and met some incredible people. Now I am in Texas, doing the installment of the 6ft x 9ft "Galactic Samurai - Confrontation of Evil". Life is exciting!
Please go see the newest article on my monumental 6ft x 9ft sculpture commission, published in The Daily Interlake. They wrote a beautiful news story, and I'm very grateful for the press.
You are invited to come see my sculptures at the St. Stephen's Art Show, February 18th-20th. The show is in Coconut Grove (Miami) Florida. We are nestled between the tea room and the food area, in booth 311. Come visit us and buy a sculpture while having a snack and sipping on some tea. For more info, visit the St. Stephen's website:
This week I wanted to tell you a bit about my piece "The Child King of The Known and Unknown Universes". Tiny, yet powerful, this is the maquette model of a sculpture I envision in monumental size for a Children's Peace Park. Innocence can rule with brilliance. I wanted to represent the power of children and the wisdom which we often take for granted.
